Right now, next to gun laws, there many not be another issue that has such a strong influence of media bias. Every week it seems that the national coverage continues to minimize the issues of illegal immigration and border security.
As expected, Comedy Central, and the Daily Show did
come out on top with the highest truth ratings. We found that it may be easier
to state facts in a comical setting where they have no qualms with
second-guessing our nation's leaders and have an easier time reporting without bias due to the fact that viewers on both sides can often relate to what is being said.
The media needs to remember that their obligation is to inform the people with facts, not based on truthiness. If they cannot rise to the challenge, it is our personal experience to find the truth for ourselves.
